GenerationOne aims to end the indigenous disparity in one generation. Launching in 2010, work was done to create all the brand and launch collateral such as business cards, invites and EDMs. The launch event was held at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney where a live interactive projection onto the Sydney Opera House occurred; a first of its kind. Since it’s launch, design work has been done for multiple events including a National Roadshow and Sydney Festival events. Such work included invitations, advertisements, branded pop up tents, printed banners, social media graphics, motion graphics, video editing of each event and television commercials. Ongoing videos were produced showing the real stories of indigenous Australians and how employment helped change their lives.
In October 2010, an Australia wide media ‘roadblock’ occurred, playing a video of a young indigenous girl, Maddie, delivering a heartfelt message to all Australians. The roadblock occurred on ALL TV stations, Qantas in-flight channel, cinemas across the country and simultaneously on the most visited websites in Australia.
